We build software that gets out of the way: consumer apps, B2B platforms, and everything in between. Based in Holbrook, Australia.
Fluid Technologies is a problem solving software studio. Based in Holbrook, NSW we take on problems worth solving with simple solutions. We've shipped consumer apps, B2B platforms, and medtech tools, often starting from scratch, often solo, always with a focus on keeping things simple without cutting corners.
We tend to work at the intersection of product design and engineering, from early concept through to live product. If a problem is genuinely complex but the solution doesn't need to be, that's where we do our best work.
A mix of active products and past experiments. Each one taught us something worth carrying forward.
A consumer dating app built to help couples actually go on dates, not just plan them. Users earn "pebbles" for completing dates, scored on effort, cost, and activity type. Built solo from concept to production, myOtter answers the question of what happens after the matchmaking app?

Mat is a Sydney-based builder with a background spanning software engineering, business, and innovation. He holds a dual degree in Business (Law & HRM) and Creative Intelligence & Innovation from UTS, alongside a Software Engineering qualification from the Institute of Data and UTS.
He built Fluid as a vehicle for products he believed in, starting with consumer apps, moving into B2B tools, and picking up medtech along the way. Most of that work has been done solo, end-to-end.
Outside of software, Mat serves as President of the Northern Sydney Rebels Gridiron Club on the Northern Beaches, where community sport is another place good organisation makes a real difference.
